A platform does not establish whether a seller is private or a business. Queensland explains ordinary private purchases do not have the dealer cooling-off period, statutory warranty or consumer guarantees. Dealer protections can have conditions and exclusions; check applicable rules rather than assuming every car has the same warranty. Inspection, seller authority and history remain separate checks.
