The QLD buyer must finalise registration transfer within 14 days. Queensland recommends the seller complete their part of F3520 and obtain the buyer’s signature on the day of sale, including for online transfers. Check eligibility, safety-certificate requirements, fees and duty. Keep the agreed sale and transfer records; avoid collecting unnecessary identity-document copies. Other states have their own process.
Prepare the separate QLD draft agreement and receipt; it does not transfer registration.
